Eric Cottongim
Associate Broker

My name is Eric Cottongim and I am looking forward to the opportunity to work with you. I began my adventure in real estate after spending 40 years in the food service industry. I currently own a restaurant, Pit Stop BBQ & Grill, in Brownsburg. Throughout my years in the food service industry, I have learned how to cater to my customers’ needs. Although I have only been licensed in real estate since early 2017, I have been involved in real estate for many years. I have owned commercial and multi-family rental properties and I served on the planning commission for the town of Brownsburg for four years. These different experiences have helped me have a creative eye and a passion for real estate.

I particularly enjoy working with first time home buyers. I believe that a home will speak to you when you know it’s the right one. Usually after walking through several, I have a pretty good idea if it will speak as soon as we walk through the door. I am honest and will point out the things my clients may not see in their home buying or selling journey. I love working with people and do everything that I can to ensure a positive experience from start to finish.

I am a graduate of Speedway High School and have spent most of my adult life in Hendricks County. I have two children who are both graduates of Avon High School. My son Tyler runs the restaurant and my daughter Tori is an elementary school teacher.

In my spare time I enjoy bicycling, playing guitar, and spending time with family & friends.

I look forward to hearing from you!
